To check the latest version number of a Programmer and for details about what was done in an update
Click on the Release Notes link below for your radio.
Not all radios have Release Notes. If there is not a link associated with the "Release Notes" label of the
radio, there are no Release Notes at this time. .
When presented with the Windows File Download screen, click Open to review the
information on the screen.
From the Windows File Download screen, click Save only if you need to save the file for use later.
When you have finished reading the Release Notes, click BACK in your browser to return to this website.
To execute an update
Click on the link below for your radio.
Not all radios have updates. If there is not a link associated with the name of the
radio, there is not an update at this time.
When presented with the Windows File Download screen, click Open to run the patch automatically on
the machine that is currently connected to the Internet.
From the Windows File Download screen, click Save only
if you need to save the file to move the update later to another machine that does
not have an internet connection. Note: You do not have to save these
updates in anticipation of reinstalling the Programmer in the
future. Each update within major version is all inclusive.
To update to a new major version (ex. version 2.x to 3.x), order the software only for the radio on the order pages.
If at some time in the
future you reinstall from your original CD, simply run the update
available at that time. The Programmer will be updates to current through
that one process.
